We are looking forward to greeting you upon your  arrival to our beautiful Emerald Coast!

To make you feel more comfortable in making your vacation reservation with Platinum Services of Destin, we have changed some of our policies.  These policies only apply to oil spill related cancellations.

1.  You may cancel your reservation up until 24 hours of arrival.

2.  Should the beaches be closed due to the oil situation and you chose to leave, you would be refunded for any unused portion of your vacation.  You would still be responsible for fees such as cleaning and taxes.    

When you arrive, you can check in as early as 3:00 pm (CST) and as late as 5:00 PM (CST) at our office fronting Highway 98 at 9735 Emerald Coast Parkway.  If you are anticipating a late arrival, please call our office on the day of your arrival between the hours of 3:00PM (CST) & 5:00 PM (CST) to receive after hours check in  instructions.  Please remember that you will need to check out no later than 10 AM on the day of your departure so that housekeeping can get your unit ready for the next guest.

Please read over the Guest Agreement to familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy and other requirements.

Although we reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the units be out of order or otherwise unavailable, don't worry ~ when comparable accommodations are not available, you will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate, or receiving a complete refund.

RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

  

1. CHECK-IN TIME is  between 3:00 and 5:00 pm CST and  CHECK-OUT is 10:00am CST. NO early check-ins. There will be a $200 early arrival fee if you check in while the Housekeepers are still cleaning before 3:00pm. Likewise, if you are still in the unit after 10:00 AM on your date of departure, THERE WILL BE A $200.00 LATE CHECK-OUT FEE.

2. These are NON SMOKING units.

3. Pets are permitted in certain units with authorization from owner with a non-refundable pet deposit of $50.00 per dog.  There is a 20 pound and under size limit and up to 2 dogs are permitted.

4. AGE REQUIREMENT- There must be a person who is of the age of 25 to book a property and they must be able to show proper identification at check in.  We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.

5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT- A Damage/Reservation deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking. An additional $200 is required for guests with pets.  This must be received at time of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a Security/Damage Deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

a) No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

b) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

c) All debris, rubbish and discards are bagged and placed by curb, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.

d) All keys are left on the kitchen counter and unit is left locked.

e) $50.00 CHARGE TO SECURITY DEPOSIT IF LOCK BOX KEY IS NOT LEFT IN LOCK BOX AT DEPARTURE.

f) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.

g) No linens are lost or damaged.  PLEASE DO NOT take the sheets or blankets to the beach.

h) The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the security company of this property.

6. PAYMENT - An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is due at the time of the booking. The advance rental payment will be applied toward the room rent.  The BALANCE OF RENT is due FOURTEEN (14) days before your arrival date.Snowbird reservations must pay their first month rent at least thirty days(30) prior to their arrival. All other snowbird payments can be paid monthly from date of arrival.

7. CANCELLATIONS - A fourteen (14) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 14 days of the arrival date, forfeit 1/2 of the advance payment and Damage/Reservation Deposit.Cancellations within 7 days of the arrival date forfeit the full amount of the payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

8. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS - Monthly renters must cancel ninety (90) days prior to check-in without penalty. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least sixty(60) days prior to check-in without penalty..

9. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to: one bedroom - four (4) persons, two bedroom - six (6) persons, three bedroom (3) - eight (8) persons.

10. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - Linens and bath towels are included in the unit.  Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. Towels and linens must not be removed from the units.

11. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

12. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

13. HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY - No refunds will be given unless:

  a.) A mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area, we will refund any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered/any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and

  b.) Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the Hurricane Warning period.

14. LOCK OUT- If Platinum Services is called for a lock out after regular office hours there will be a $75.00 fee.

15. GUEST SERVICES DIRECTORY - There is an information book in your unit.  Please use it for reference but leave it behind when you go home.  There will be a $75 charge to make your book a souvenir.

16. SUBSTITUTION POLICY - We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should the units be out of order or otherwise unavailable. When comparable accommodations are not available , renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate, or receiving a complete refund.

17. PROCESSING FEE: There will be a $40.00 processing fee applied to all reservations.

18. Platinum Services of Destin does not offer the Sandestin amenity card.
